Dave Ryan – Pastor
Pastor Ryan has served as senior pastor at Grace Baptist since January 1999. His desire is for people to come to know Christ personally and to grow in a relationship with God as the Bible comes alive to them in their everyday life. Pastor Ryan is a 1990 graduate of Cedarville University and of Baptist Bible Seminary in Pennsylvania, where he earned a Master of Divinity in 1995. He has been in full-time pastoral ministry since 1994.
David is a native of Toledo, Ohio, and met his wife Linda at Cedarville, where she graduated in 1990. The couple has been blessed with three daughters, Allison, Karis, and Abby. The Ryan family enjoys serving in many ways at Grace Baptist.
Ken Floyd – Pastor of Leadership Development
Pastor Ken joined the Grace ministry team in 2023. He and his wife, Sharon, are natives of Springfield, OH, and were married in 1976. After attending Cedarville University and Grace Theological Seminary, Ken served as a lead pastor for 25 years in two Ohio churches and one in Michigan. He subsequently served as the Executive Ministry Director of the Michigan Association of Regular Baptist Churches for 16 years (2006-2022). Ken’s ministry at Grace emphasizes spiritual leadership formation, strategic planning input, and prayer initiatives. He also serves as an extension of Grace’s ministry to area churches in need of revitalization consultations and pastoral coaching.
The Floyd’s are blessed to join daughter and son-in-law, Allison and Taylor Helmick; and grandchildren, Connor, Eloise, Malachi, Emmaline, and Camille as a part of the Grace family.
Matt Hutchens – Associate Pastor
At the start of 2024, Pastor Matt started his ministry alongside the pastoral team at Grace Baptist. He serves as the Pastor of Discipleship and oversees our teen ministry. Matt studied at Appalachian Bible College and received a degree in Bible & Theology and Missions in the spring of 2022.
Matt grew up in southwest Michigan and returned there after graduation to begin his ministry at his home church. He is delighted to now serve at Grace and desires to help people live their lives with eternity in mind. Matt is joined by his wife Mallory and their daughter Marah.
Stephen McFarren – Music Ministry Coordinator
Stephen has been the Music Ministry Coordinator at Grace Baptist Church as of July 2022. He is excited to start this new journey and has a passion for worship, presenting the gospel through song, and engaging people through this ministry. Stephen is also an accomplished songwriter and has a passion for writing worship music for the church.
Stephen graduated from Malone University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Ministry. While at Malone he met and married his wife, Tara. Stephen and Tara have two young children, Grace and Isaac. As a family, they enjoy spending time with their extended family, going to the zoo, and creating precious memories.
Linda Mulanax – Office Manager
Linda has been the Office Manager since February 1999. She enjoys the opportunities the position gives her to use her skills to assist the pastors and the church family, and the many opportunities to come along side others and encourage them through prayer or an encouraging word. Linda has been a member of Grace since 1978. The church family is truly “family” that she loves and appreciates.
Linda is originally from Massachusetts. She is blessed with a wonderful family – 2 children, son-in-law, daughter-in-law and 5 precious grandkids.
